These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the A Woven Promise mobile application ("the App"), published by Crimson Thread Publishing ("we," "us," "our"). By downloading, creating an account in, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
You need an account to read in the App. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your password secure, and to be responsible for activity under your account. You must be 13 or older to create an account.
You may delete your account at any time from inside the App — open Profile → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent and immediately removes your account, reading progress, saved library, and story submissions.
Some books are free to read. Access to the full library requires an auto-renewing subscription, offered as a monthly or an annual plan. The current price for your region is always shown in the App on the subscription screen before you purchase.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App and read its content for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, publicly perform, scrape, or create derivative works from the books, narration, or artwork, and you may not attempt to circumvent the subscription or any technical protection in the App. Downloaded books are stored encrypted on your device for offline reading only.
The books in the App are works of imaginative fiction built around biblical characters and events. They are not Scripture and do not claim to be. Dialogue, supporting characters, and connecting scenes are invented. Each book's foreword sets out what Scripture records and what the story imagines. As the App says: read it as a story; read your Bible for truth.
The stories are generated with the assistance of artificial intelligence under human direction and editing. This is disclosed in the App's front matter for every book.
Subscribers may submit story ideas through the App. By submitting an idea you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, adapt, and publish it in the series. You confirm the idea is your own and does not infringe anyone else's rights. Submissions are unpaid — there is no profit share — but if your idea is selected you may be credited by name if you asked to be. We are not obligated to use any submission, and we may receive similar ideas from others independently.

The App, the books, the narration, the cover artwork, and the "A Woven Promise" and "Crimson Thread Publishing" names are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content will always be available.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or profits, arising out of your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim.
These Terms are between you and Crimson Thread Publishing only — not with Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the App or its content and have no obligation to provide support for it. They are, however, third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
