This Privacy Policy explains what information the A Woven Promise mobile
application ("the App") collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. The App is published
by Crimson Thread Publishing ("we," "us," "our"). By using the App you agree to this policy.
Information We Collect
We collect only what the App needs to work. Specifically:
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your
email address, a display name you choose, and a password
(stored only in encrypted/hashed form by our authentication provider). On Apple devices you
may instead use Sign in with Apple; if you choose to hide your email, we
receive only Apple's private relay address.
Story submissions. If you submit a story idea, we collect the information you
enter (title, biblical characters, time period, biblical foundation, and description) and,
only if you opt in, a name you would like credited in the story.
Subscription & purchase information. If you purchase a subscription, the
transaction is processed by Apple's App Store or Google Play
and managed through our subscription provider, RevenueCat. We receive your
subscription status and anonymized transaction identifiers. We never receive or store
your credit card or payment details — those are handled entirely by Apple or Google.
On-device data. The App stores your reading progress and caches book text and
audio on your device so it loads quickly and works offline. This information stays on your
device and is not transmitted to us.
What We Do Not Collect
We do not use advertising, ad networks, or ad identifiers.
We do not use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, or device identifiers for tracking.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
How We Use Your Information
To create and maintain your account and let you sign in.
To deliver book content and remember your reading progress.
To provide and restore your subscription.
To review story ideas you submit and, with your permission, credit you if a submission is selected.
To respond to your support requests.
Service Providers
We share information only with the providers that operate the App for us:
Supabase — secure account authentication and database hosting.
RevenueCat — subscription management.
Apple App Store and Google Play — app distribution and payment processing.
These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Data Retention & Deletion
We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. You may request that we
delete your account and associated personal data at any time by emailing us at the address below.
We will delete your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain records
(for example, purchase records) by law or by the app stores.
Children's Privacy
The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not
knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided
us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal
information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the

Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at
the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
